Planning Committee Role
The Planning Committee conducts ongoing assessments of employer labor force needs, identifies training and service priorities, and develops the five-year plan for the local workforce area consistent employer needs and identified priorities. The Planning Committee identifies program policy needs and makes policy recommendation to the Board. Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) negotiations are also the responsibility of the Planning Committee.
