Population Served: These services are designed to assist workers who lose their jobs due to business closings or layoffs and to assist area employers in their search for qualified job applicants.
Eligibility: People may be eligible for these services if they have been laid-off or terminated from their job, or have worked for a plant or business that has closed.
Purpose: To prepare individuals for re-entry to the workforce.

- Counseling
- Vocational assessment
- Occupation classroom training
- Basic and remedial education
- On-the-job training
- Job search assistance
- Supportive services (assistance with transportation and child care)
